• Do you take on projects during the winter months?

  Yes! We work all year round, but for obvious reasons we do not take on exterior projects during the winter months. If you are building a home with us, or have an interior and exterior project, we always stage and schedule to make sure the home is weather-proofed and that no damage is done to the interior of your home due to weather.

• What is the typical timeline for a project?

  This question is almost impossible to answer due to all of the variables, but with our new online tracking system you will always know where your job stands and what the expected schedule is to be. You will also be given an estimated timeline before the project begins.

  It is also important to note, that depending on the size and scope of your project one of the most time consuming stages is the plans and permitting portion of the project.

  As a general rule of thumb, here are a few breakdowns of expected timelines from a general standpoint:

  Custom Homes- 12-18 months (including permitting and planning)

  Home Additions- 9-15 months (including permitting and planning)

  Kitchen Remodels – 3-6 months (depending on permitting and planning)

  Bathroom Remodels – 3-6 months (depending on permitting and planning)

• I am new to construction, what should I look out for?

  Always ask any contractor (including us) that steps onto your property to show proof of license, insurance, and bonds. These pre-requisites could ultimately save you thousands of dollars should a mistake happen, and no matter who referred the contractor, how many jobs they have done, or how cheap their work may seem you should always make sure you have a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor.

  From there, ask for references, take a look at their website, take a look at their social media. Get a feel for who you are going to be working with.

  At the end of the day, you have to be comfortable not only with the company you choose, but the relationships that you will undoubtedly make while your project is taking place.
